• Finish Workbook pages 75- 78 - Section 2 (textbook page 189) -"Storms". Due on Monday.

November 19, 2009

• We continued with the packet about weather and then corrected the pages.

November 18, 2009

• Yesterday we corrected the workbook pages from Chapter 4.
• Today students recieved a packet about weather. They are completing it in class today and tomorrow. A number of skills and topics are included in the packet.
• Examples: Storms, Weather symbols, Reading wind speed and direction, Using a weather map, cold and warm front, and a puzzle about weather.

November 16, 2009

• In class we started Chapter 4, "Weather Patterns".
• Today we discussed Section 1 p. 130 "Air Masses and Warm Fronts".
• Homework: Complete Workbook pages 71-73. It is due tomorrow.

• Test on Friday, November 13, 2009 - Chapter 3 " Weather Factors". Study daily. Students have the study guide outline for this test and the format of the test

November 4, 2009

• We began Chapter 4 - "Weather Patterns" page 120. Students wrote down the vocabulary words for this chapter. They began to define half of them in class today. They will finish tomorrow.

November 5, 2009

• Finish your vocabulary words (definitions to Chapter 4). This is due on wednesday, Nov. 11.
• Study for your test that will be on Friday, November 13, 2009.
