Classroom News and Reminders

Congratulations to Jessica for being chosen as our Panther of the Week. She takes pride in her work and strives to do her very best! Keep up the great work, Jessica!

A big thank you to those parents who donated pajamas for the Pajama Program! We collected almost 30 pairs of pajamas which were part of our offertory gifts. They were in the the mail by Friday!

Our Liturgy went very well on Wednesday. The children were very sincere and reverend in their participation. I was very proud of them!

On December 10, we visited the Lowes Food Store on New Garden Street. The children had a wonderful time!! A big thank you to Mr. Yow, Mrs. Hall and parents from Mrs. Myers' class who were able to drive and chaperone on this trip!

On Tuesday night at 7 o'clock, we will be having our annual Christmas Program. If the procedure is the same as last year, the children are to meet in the gym between 6:30 and 7 for the performance. Please be on time.

This week we will be studying about the different Christmas traditions and customs in Mexico, England, Australia, and Israel. On Thursday we will be visiting different classrooms on our floor to learn about these customs. During this week, our class will be learning about the Christmas customs in Israel as well as the meaning of Hannakuh and the importance of this holiday for the Jewish people.

Please remind your children to stay in their seats and to raise their hand when they wish to speak. It is not necessary for them to walk up to me, especially when I am working with a student or a group of

students. Chatting should be reserved to recess and lunch. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.

As always, thank you in advance for your kindness and support. If you need to contact me for any reason please do not hesitate to call and if needed, I'll return your call as soon as possible. I prefer phone calls but I will also answer emails.

Have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year! If you are traveling this holiday, stay safe, warm, and may God bless. See you in January!

Sincerely,

Jane McDonald
