Dear Parents,
Welcome to a short week! We hope you were able to enjoy the long
weekend and Special Person's Day! The children worked very hard on their
song for the mass.
I am asking the children to do a scrapbook page about themselves, and it
will be due next Wednesday. This will be their creative writing assignment
for next week. There is a sheet describing it in the Monday folder.
We will celebrate Veteran's Day this afternoon with a special ceremony.
The children made sweet cards last week which will be sent off to veterans
via the Red Cross. We have a HASA meeting tomorrow night in the Fallon
Center at 7:00 p.m., and this Friday is Principal Appreciation Day!
A few reminders:
***Multiplication tables for this week and next week will be the 5's. Quiz
NEXT Thursday.
This week's basic plan:
Religion: We will continue with Chapter 7-Moses and the Israelites.
Spelling: Test on Chapter 12 this week. Bonus word is "predator."
Reading: We will not have a regular reading test this week.
Math: Continue with unit on graphing.
Science: Continue with food chains and food webs.
Birthdays: None this week!
