  Dear Parents,

I just want to thank each and every one of you for your support and
all your help this year. It's been a very busy and productive year.
Without you I don't think we could have done it all.

We weren't able to complete our Math books, but they have done well
with what we did cover. I would like you to continue working with them in
their books this summer. This will greatly help the transition to 3rd
grade. Remember to continue their READING. They have done well but need to
continue practicing and expanding the many genre available. Enjoyment is
the key. You may want them to keep up a Journal to provide practice in
expressing themselves through writing. Don't forget to encourage them to
write in cursive. If they don't practice new skills they will begin to lose
some of what they've learned. You don't always have to use workbooks, Be
CREATIVE it can be lots of fun.

Last Sunday, our Caroline finally was able to make her First Holy
Communion. She looked beautiful. It was so nice to see many of her
classmates there in their First Communion outfits. At the end of Mass they
all led the procession of the Blessed Sacrament. The day was just perfect.

God answered our prayers for Caroline's recovery, so we are now
requesting your prayers for Michael's Dad who underwent surgery yesterday.
It is so hard on families who have loved ones in the hospital, I know they
would appreciate all our prayers for a speedy recovery.

If I don't get a chance to see all of you before the end of school I
wish all of you a safe and happy summer.

   God bless,
   Liz Frinzl
