Mrs. Simmons is originally from Baltimore County, Maryland and spent her
childhood summers on the Jersey Shore. She graduated from the University of
Maryland with a BA in Psychology. Mrs Simmons did her post graduate work at
National University in San Diego as well as UNCW and holds a North Carolina
Teaching Certificate. She received her Catechetical Certificate from the
University of San Diego, CA. She has taught on the Elementary level for 15
years and served as Vice Principal of St. John's School in Encinitas, CA.
Mrs. Simmons is married and has three daughters.
