Kindergarten News from Mrs. Yanoschak and Mrs. Harrell
Week of November 16 - November 20
Dear Parents,
We will begin assessing the children on the following skills for the
first semester report card: recognition of upper case/lower case letters,
letter sounds, blending sounds into words, rhyming words, color words, full
name, birth date, home address, telephone number as well as many other skills.
We will not be assessing the children on many of the math skills for first
semester since we are still learning these skills. The report cards will be
sent home the first week of January.
We will be celebrating Thanksgiving with our kinderbuddies on Monday,
November 23. We have invited our eight grade buddies to join us for a
Thanksgiving Feast in our classroom around 11:30AM. We would like to thank
Mrs. Castiller, Brianna's mother, for organizing the Thanksgiving Feast. We
would also like to thank everyone for volunteering to supply the food, serve,
and clean up for this exciting event. We cannot thank you enough for your
wonderful support and generosity.
On Tuesday, November 24, there will be a Thanksgiving Prayer Service at
2:00PM in the church. The Thanksgiving Break begins Wednesday, November 25 -
Sunday, November 29. School resumes Monday, November 30.

Friday, December 4. Please read the enclosed flier for more information.
