Kindergarten News from Mrs. Yanoschak and Mrs. Harrell
Week of November 30 - December 4

Dear Parents,

We wish everyone a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. The children will
return to school on Monday, November 30.

A Scholastic Book order form has been sent home. If you would like to
purchase books for your child for Christmas, then please complete the form.
The money and form should be returned to school by Monday, November 30.

We will continue to assess the children on the following skills for the
first semester report card: recognition of upper case/lower case letters,
letter sounds, blending sounds into words, rhyming words, color words, full
name, birth date, home address, telephone number as well as many other skills.
We will not be assessing the children on many of the math skills for first
semester since we are still learning these skills. The report cards will be
sent home the first week of January.

We will be attending Mass with our kinderbuddies on Friday, December 4.
Friday is also an early dismissal day, 11:45AM.

HASA is offering a Parents' Night Out/Lower School Movie & Pizza Party on
Friday, December 4. The payment and signed permission form needs to be
returned to school by Tuesday December 1.

Please reserve Tuesday, December 15 to watch your child perform in the
annual Kindergarten Christmas Program. It will be held in the Fallon Center
