Message from the Principal
Dear Folks,
November is here and the saints came marching in! Our kindergarten students, along with their eighth grade buddies, led us in Liturgy for the feast of all saints. A luncheon was held for the two classes and each kindergarten child was given a treasure box from their buddy. The "treasure" consisted of a biography of their patron saint and a few little goodies. The eighth graders did the research on the life of the saint.
We are preparing to celebrate Veterans day with a prayer service scheduled for 1:15 on Wednesday, November 11th. We are also preparing thanksgiving baskets for 11 needy families. Hopefully, they will enjoy a delicious meal. Our students will be assembling Luminary kits to be sold in the community to benefit Brenner children's Hospital as well as making cookies on our "bake out night" for the patients and their families at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. Finally, we will be hosting our annual Family prayer night on November 30th @ 6:30.This year our special intention is for the priests who serve our Church throughout the world. We are trying to be saintly in the ordinary events of life!
We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving - a time to ponder the goodness of our God.
