Message from the Principal

Dear Folks,

The first candle is lit; Advent has begun. We are in the midst of waiting for the celebration of Jesus's birth. While we wait, we are trying to be more cognizant of God's presence in our daily lives. Perhaps God is waiting for us to do something in Jesus's name during these next few weeks. Something really special!

Our students have prepared luminaries that will soon be sold to benefit Brenner Children's hospital. In addition, we are collecting gifts for the Stop Child Abuse Now program. Our annual Family prayer night was held on the first Monday of Advent. We prayed especially for our priests who serve us so unselfishly. In these difficult economic times it is heart warming to see the outpouring of generosity in prayer and good works. The light of Christ is shining over OLM and God is pleased with His children and their families. Let's all light our candles and do something while we wait. Happy Advent!
