How do you grade the students since art is so subjective?

I never grade on how well a student can draw.  That would be unfair to every student.  I 
use a "Art Critique."   The critique is broken down into six areas:
                                       Following objectives - 30 pts.
                                       Originality/creativity - 15 pts.
                                        Effort - 20 pts.
                                         Attitude and time management - 15 pts.
                                          Problem solving - 10 pts.
                                          Neatness - 10 pts.

Yes, I have paint shirts that students have to wear when painting or any project that 
could possible damage clothing.
