What's a PASSPORT?

<bgsound style="color:#cc0000;" src="indianajonestheme.mid" color="#ffffff" loop="infinite" /> What is a P.A.S.S.P.O.R.T. ?

Parents And Students Study, Prepare, Organize, and Reflect Together

A PASSPORT is a 3-ring binder notebook that holds everything the students and parents need to keep updated on classroom and school events!

* No more lost notes, lost homework, lost important school notes or missing lunch/book club money!

* No more looking all over the house to find paper to write the teacher a note!

EVERYTHING a student and parent needs is in one notebook!

WHY IS A PASSPORT GOOD TO HAVE?

This notebook helps students to establish good organizational skills as well as teach them responsibility. The children really enjoy using the PASSPORT. It is a wonderful way to keep communication open between the teacher and parents.

WHAT'S IN A PASSPORT?

~Important Papers From School:This section is where students put information we get from the office or special notes from me.

~Pouch: This pouch is for money, notes from home, extra pencils for homework or anything else that needs to be kept safe.

~Super Duper Work to Keep: This is the manila pocket folder found inside after the pouch. This is the section that students place their work after I have checked it. Please clean out this section each night.

~Homework: In this pocket you will find nightly homework and/ or any work that was not completed in class and is due the following day.

~Newsletters: Each week, I will send home a newsletter/homework contract. It contains valuable information and weekly spelling/vocabulary words for each new week.

~Calendars: In this section, you will find a monthly snack calendar and the monthly lunch menus.

~Notebook Paper: This section has notebook paper that you my use to complete any homework assignments or misc. assignments at home.

~A.R. Test Scores & Reading Log: This is where you can view all books and A.R. test scores that your child has read and taken. You will also find your child's Nine Week A.R. goals and individual pacing guide for this period.
