Newsflash!

The Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 8:00 am in
the Multipurpose Room. Parsley's volunteers make a significant difference at our
school. We would like to thank our volunteers for sharing your time and talents with
the children!

Reading/Language Arts - Voyagers- story: Across the Wide Dark Sea Our skills for the
week include: Making inferences, suffixes -less & -ness, spelling vowel sounds in
tooth and cook, vocabulary/dictionary: syllables, and subject pronouns.
Writing- we are writing play scripts! So far, they're outstanding!

Math- In math we will continue our study of geometry and using appropriate
vocabulary to compare, describe, and classify 2 and 3-dimensional figures. Our test is
Wednesday, April 22. We will move on to congruence and symmetry and also review
concepts for the Math End-of-Grade test.

Social Studies: We have begun our study of economics in communities.
