I was born and raised in Henderson, N.C. I received a Bachelor of
Social Work from Barton College in 1995. I moved to Wilmington in
1996 and received my Elementary Education Certification from UNCW
in May 2003. My husband, David, is a teacher at Murray Middle School and my
son, Jack, is in sixth grade there, as well.
This will be my sixth year of teaching at Parsley. I had a fantastic
year in second grade with a group of sweet, bright students and I am
overjoyed to be teaching them again in third grade!
My mission for the class is to provide a fun-filled learning experience
for my students and cater to the individual needs of each child.
