I am very excited to start my first year of teaching here at Parsley. I
have heard many positive things about this school and I am beyond excited to
begin my teaching career here. I recently graduated from UNC-Wilmington
with a bachelors degree in Physical Education.
This past summer I was married in June to my wonderful high school sweet-
heart. We love Wilmington and are active participants in our local church
and community. We recently got our new puppy, Pepper, who has lots of energy
and fun to be around.
Growing up, sports were my life and made up a large part of who I was; my
true identity. Soccer was, is, and always will be my favorite sport. I
also enjoy swimming and distance running. I am also very close to my family
and sisters, both considered two of my best friends.
I look forward to the awesome experiences that are to come here at Parsley!
My mission for my P.E. class is to create an environment for every child to
try something new, put into practice the skills previously learned, and to
challenge both the cognitive and physical aspect of their education. At the
end of my class I want students to feel compelled to maintain an active
lifestyle; a "want to", not a "have to".
