Help spread the word!! NHC Schools has a very strict policy concerning safe administration of medication to students. All medications are kept in a locked cabinet in the nurses office. Prescription or OTC medications require a Physician Authorization Form to be filled out and signed by the physician and parent. Children may not bring medications to school. They must be brought in by their parent or an adult designee, who will sign the medicine in. Children may not carry Tums, cough drops, or even Tylenol. Why are we so strict? The main issue is safety.
