Can I check out books from the public library for my child to take tests on?
Absolutely! They might have a list of our tests and can help you select books in your child's Z.P.D. (level). I can print a personalized list for your child to take with you to the library or you can check on their on-line card catalog www.nhclibrary.org (in the links section). Myrtle Grove library hours are M-W 9:00am-8:00pm & Th-Sa 9:00am-5:00pmBack to Top
What can I read if I left my library books at school?
Anything! Just read something for 30 min. Anything will do - magazines, comics, newspapers, books you have at home, the cereal box, the catfood bag, the directions to a game (then play the game), just to name a few possibilities. This is only to be done in an EMERGENCY when library books have been left at school. Library books are expected to come home and back to school everyday.Back to Top
Can I still take an AR test on a book that I left at home?
If you are ready for the test and you remember the title, yes. If you're not sure if you're ready, then it's best to wait. If you don't remember the title and it's not written on your homework sheet, then you'll have to wait until the next day.Back to Top
