Kindergarten NewsFor the weeks of January 21st-30th Last week and this week we will be learning about different types of Penguins and some Polar Animals. Language Arts Last week and this week we will be writing facts about different penguins and polar animals. We will write about what we would do with a penguin for a day, our favorite penguins, and polar animals. We will write about different things that we enjoy doing as well. Math Last week and this week we will be and have been measuring with non-standard items. We will be measuring different things in our classroom, and we will measure a life size Emperor Penguin. Science/Social Studies We will be working in our weather science kit. We will be making weather observations- things we hear, feel, see, and smell. Homework * Please make sure your child is working on One (1) book per week to ensure fluency and to ensure that they have practiced the book and can read it aloud to me. *Make sure to help pace your child through his/her homework so it will last until the due dateJ.
