Introduction
Pretend you work for your state's Division of Tourism. Your boss has
given you the job of creating a presentation to put on their website that gives
information about your state.
The
Task
You will use the Internet to search for facts about your
state. You will then create a PowerPoint presentation that tells
the facts that you've learned about your state.
The
Process
Look at the Evaluation Rubric. This
will tell you how your final product-your PowerPoint presentation-will
be assessed.
Print
the State Fact Sheet if you don't
already have a copy.
Use
the Internet resources below to collect facts and pictures about your
state. Record the facts you learn on your State Fact Sheet. Save
the necessary pictures on your computer.
After
you've completed your fact sheet, you're ready to begin your PowerPoint
presentation. Since this is only our second PowerPoint presentation
this year, we will all put the same information on each slide. If you do
not have a copy of the PowerPoint Storyboard, print it.
Create your presentation based on the storyboard layout directions.
