Wow! The gingerbread house
activity was so fun. The children
read The Gingerbread Boy and The
Gingerbread Girl and compared the
stories. We also discussed the
many shapes found in our creations.

We used graham crackers, icing and
lots of candies to decorate our
house. Thanks to all of our
parents for sending in the
supplies. We couldn't have done it
without you!

Thanks to our moms who came and
helped with the houses. I think
they had fun too!

Hard at work, but having fun at
the same time!

We had a lot to smile about today.

The children are very excited
about taking their gingerbread
houses home!
