Here is a link to Kindergarten writing rubric from our Write From the Beginning program. This will give you an idea of how your child's writing will be scored for assessment purposes. Formal writing assessments are given twice a year in Kindergarten (Mid and End of Year). The students are scored for both their Drawing and their Writing.
