About The Teacher

This is my 12th year of teaching and I am a national board certified 
teacher.  I have been teaching at Parsley Elementary since 2003.  I am a 
graduate of UNC-W and have a minor in sociology.  My husband of 6 years 
works at PPD and we are enjoying being parents to our beautiful 2 yr.old
child, Mallory!  I enjoy going to the beach, traveling, reading, shopping, 
listening to music, and spending time with my family and friends.

Class Mission

To provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children learn 
through a variety of teaching stategies.  I will do my best to meet the 
academic and social needs of all students and treat everyone equally.
