I have been teaching at Parsley since it opened in 2001, and before that I
taught in Brunswick County and Alamance County. I love teaching, reading,
walking, and spending time with my family. My favorite color is green, and
my favorite dessert is ice cream (almost all flavors). My birthday is in
May, so my birthstone is the emerald. My favorite holiday is Christmas, and
I enjoy decorating and baking at Christmas time. I have recently had 2 books
published with the publishing company, Pieces of Learning. I am very excited
about these books. They are books on math analogies that teachers can use to
enhance their instruction. I have another book which will be published in
the spring on CD for teachers to use to differentiate morning work in their
classrooms. This has been a very exciting adventure!
