Every once in a while there will be a writing, science, or soc. studies
assignment. Please check your child's planner each night for assignments.

Tuesday Choose One:
A. Use the dictionary to write the definition for each word.
B. Write a word that either sounds like or is spelled (rhyming) like
your spelling words.
C. Cut out your letters from newspaper to spell your words and paste
them into your notebook.
Wednesday Choose One:
A. Think of and write a synonym for each word or a word that is similar
to the word.
B. Think of and write an antonym for each word or a word that is
opposite of the word.
Thursday Chose One:
A. Write each word in a sentence.
B. Write a short story using all the spelling words. Underline each
