About The Teacher
"Thank You, Thank You NC" What a lovely place...such friendly and polite people! I'm very excited to be here in the Wilmington area! And I am thrilled to be a part of the St. Mark Family! I graduated from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee, Massachusetts with a degree in English and Elementary Education. Throughout the years, I have done graduate work in Reading and Language Arts at the University of Scranton and Rhode Island College. Most recently, I attended seminars sponsored by the SDE group located in NH. I have held elementary certificates in New Jersey, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Virginia. My Rhode Island and North Carolina certificates are still active. I have been teaching in Catholic schools for 29 years in grades K-3. Grade 3 is an exciting chance to work with the children after they have had a few years in school. I am married to my best friend and husband Bruce, we have two beautiful daughters, Marybeth and Nicole, who have blessed us with two wonderful grandsons, Grant and Blaize. We are very excited because Nicole and Aaron will be adding to our joy with a new baby at the end of the year! I am excited to begin my third year at St. Mark School...so many wonderful children and their amazing families...I am so blessed! Peace & Blessings, Mrs. Hampton
