Well, where do I begin? I am the youngest of four girls from a very loving
Irish Roman Catholic family. All of my family (besides yours truly) resides
in the D.C metropolitan area. I was born in Northern New Jersey, have also
spent four years in Michigan, and from the third grade on through high
school I lived in Northern Virginia. Although, I spent all of those years
in Northern Virginia, they never made a Redskins fan out of me. I'm sorry
to say North Carolina will just not make a Panthers fan out of me. I am an
avid sports fan. I support my NY Yankees, NY Giants, and I love College
basketball. My two favorite teams are the Virginia Cavaliers (where all of
my three older sisters attended) and UNCW Seahawks (where I'm a proud
alumni). I grew up playing competitive Travel soccer as well as USS
swimming.
I am a VERY proud "mommy" to the sweetest dog. He is a handsome
silver lab named Duke. He has become some what of a class mascot and the class
loves to hear all about his adventures! He loves going out on the boat,
hunting for fiddler crabs, and most of all swimming! When I am not at school
he keeps me very busy!
I feel blessed to be teaching Kindergarten here at St. Mark, and I am
absolutely loving every minute of it!
Take care, God bless, and thanks for visiting my web page!
Our kindergarten curriculum at St. Mark's is rich with experiences that
develop a positive self-concept, independence, and a strong sense of
community. I strive for all children to think critically, creatively, and
reflectively. At St. Mark Catholic School, religion is an integral part of
our curriculum. Throughout the day, we try to instill Christian values. We
share, cooperate, learn from others, and simply enjoy living and learning in
God's beautiful world.
