About The Teacher

I have been teaching at St. Mark School for the past 5 years & have loved 
every minute of it.  I love being able to work with all the grades.  It 
gives me a chance to get to know the entire school.  
I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation from UNCW in May 
of 2000.  In the fall of 2005 I recieved my North Carolina teaching license 
in physical education.  
I have been a member of St. Mark Parish since 1991 when my family moved to 
Wilmington from New York.  It has been interesting to see the church grow 
and now to be a part of the school as it grows.
My husband & I (unexpectedly) welcomed our daughter, Meghan Elizabeth into 
the world on March 21, 2006.  She decided she couldn't wait until July 15, 
2006 to meet us.  She put up quite a fight since that day & showed us 
how we need to be strong in our faith & put our trust in God.  She taught us 
how to love unconditionally & to realize how fragile life is.  Meghan lost 
her battle with her preemie issues and cystic fibrosis on Sun Nov 26, 2006.  
She will forever be our angel in our hearts.
