The Red Book has our spelling words for the week and should come home every
day (except Fridays) to study the words for the week. Please be sure to
review them every night. We will have a spelling test on Fridays.
The math papers that come home serve as a reinforcement of a skill
learned in class. Please be sure to do only one side each night unless
otherwise noted. The side to be done first will have your child's name on it.
Mrs. D has decided that the children will have math homework every night.
Please be sure that each page is done. We have been working on addition
facts to 12. We will be moving on to subtraction in a few days. It would be
helpful to your child if flashcards were made of these facts and a few
reviewed each evening as part of the math homework. Little minds forget
things very quickly! Thank you!
