"My 3 Point Project"  We will be doing some work with our points again shortly. 

I know it is getting close to the end of the school year, but the material being covered is still very important for your child to learn and be able to apply.  It is too early for your student to stop doing their homework because this quarter's grade will have an impact on the final grade awarded for the year.  Be sure your student is doing their homework on a timely basis.  Homework is a way of practicing what they learned in class and showing me that they understand the material.  Every topic we are talking about is important to know and understand.  Any of the Math courses they will take in their later education will need this information.

Chapter 11 starts our discussion of finding the areas and perimeters of the circular sectors and segments and various polygons.  This chapter brings in many of the concepts we have studied in previous chapters.

I am planning on giving an EOC test to give them and me a good assessment of how they have retained the material.  I also will try to get into some new material on probability and statistics in the final weeks.
