This will be the twentieth year of teaching in Catholic schools for Mrs.
Hamrick. Mrs. Hamrick taught Kindergarten at St. Pius X Catholic School in
Greensboro for eight years and
has taught first grade at St. Raphael's for twelve years. Twenty years may
sound like a long time but each child and each day always brings something new
and exciting. This will be the eighth year that Mrs. Hamrick and Mrs. Rohrbach
have been a team in 1A. This team teaching experience has been very rewarding,
giving us extra hands in our classroom and extra time to be with our families.
Mrs. Hamrick has two teenage boys and always enjoys her time with them at the
beach. You will also see her helping out in the office a few afternoons a week
and calling names in the carpool line.
This is the thirteenth year at St. Raphael's for Mrs. Rohrbach. Previously
she taught in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Mrs. Rohrbach loves teaching first
graders; watching their little minds grow!
Mrs. Rohrbach enjoys reading, gardening, and mountain retreats with her
husband. She has one son attending Appalachian State University, and a golden
retriever named Sierra.
