WEEK of November 23-24, 2009
This week we will be watching an outstanding video, "Saint John Bosco: Mission
to Love".The film features magnificent performances by Flavio Insinnia as Don
Bosco and Lina Sastri as Don Bosco's mother. While presenting an authentic and
moving portrait of the saint's life, it also reveals how adversity can be the
impetus for us to call upon God's grace to transform our lives and the lives
of others in ways that only God can accomplish.
WEEK of November 30- December 4, 2009
We will begin this week by concluding our viewing of the video, "Saint Don
Bosco: Mission to Love", and students will respond to questions about the film
in writing. The responses to these questions will count as a quiz grade. On
Thursday, we will spend time in Eucharistic Adoration, and we will conclude
the week with a short quiz on Unit 2, Session 6, "God is Faithful."
