What should my child bring for snack?

Anything healthy! I love seeing veggies and dip or popcorn. I
personally love nuts. The children just need to have a healthy
snack, so please no chips or cookies.

How much homework should we expect to see come home?

I assign mainly Spelling and Math for homework. Although, there
are tests and projects that the children will be studying or
preparing. Sometimes there may be center work to finish at home
are small assignments in SS or Science.

What time should my child be in your classroom?

The school day starts at 8:05am, but children are not tardy until
after 8:30am. However, every morning there is "morning work,"
which many times is graded. It is best if your child is here
closer to 8:05am. This will alleviate anxiety for them feeling
like they need to "catch up" and better ensures that they do not
rush through their work.
