In the classroom:

Reading- We continue our unit about kindness.  How very important it is to learn about all the ways we can be kind and generous to others! We will be learning how to make inferences, where quotation marks go, as well as reviewing where commas should go and capitalization. We have three more stories to read and then will be wrapping up this unit.

Math- We are   starting Chapter 4 on adding two-digit numbers.  The children will practice their skills of rounding and estimating.  They will be learning how to regroup ones as tens.  Please continue to practice addition facts at home!

Religion-We are busy preparing for the birth of Jesus.  The children have been working very hard on the Christmas Play.  Lines need to be memorized by Friday, December 4th and costumes need to come in on Tuesday, December 8th.

Language Arts- We will be learning how to write a good paragraph.  Soon, we will be writing to our pen pals in Charlotte!  We are wrapping up our unit on nouns.
