Supply List

The school planner will be required. Price is to be determined. 
A trapper-keeper will be required to help organize daily work.
 
Student Supply List for 2009-2010
5th -8th grade supply list *Note: this is the only supply list for 
all 5-8th students*

All students are required to bring the following for their homeroom:
 
•         two boxes of tissues
•         one package pencil top erasers
•         two packs of lined paper
•         one pack crayons or markers
•         one pack dividers
•         three rolls scotch tape
•         one box #2 pencils for general classroom use
•         one pack blue or black pens
•         two packs notecards
All students are required to have in their planner for all classes 
throughout the year a zipper pouch containing the following:
 
•         5 sharpened #2 pencils
•         personal pair scissors
•         hand held pencil sharpener
•         1 dry erase marker
*We also recommend that if possible your student have a USB or jump 
drive for their computer use.
 
All students will need supplies for the following classes.  Do not 
turn these in to your homeroom teacher – bring to the appropriate 
teacher. 

Math
•         one spiral notebook for a math journal 
          one TI-30 series calculator

Writing
•         one new writing journal

Science
•         1 inch green 3 ring binder with the following inside
             1. College ruled paper (5th grade wide rule)
Students will be responsible for keeping blank paper in their science 
notebook throughout the year.
             2. 3 page protectors or sturdy sections labled with the  
following: Notes, Classwork/homework, Tests
•         1 foam board and 1 trifold board
  
Language Arts
In addition all upcoming 5th graders and 5th – 8th students new to 
the learning center will need the following:
 
•         2” 3 ring binder for Writing
•         2” 3 ring binder for Social Studies
•         2” 3 ring binder for Working with Words

Wish List for Creative Problem Solving/Electives
tongue depressors
wood beads, large and medium size
rubber bands, especially very large ones
wooden craft sticks
masking tape, duct tape
wood dowels of any size
straws for building projects - hundreds of them
parchment paper for drum making
yarns, twine for macrame and other crafts
scrap wood and PVC pipe
sewing machines
