I have 30 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. I was born and
raised in Atlanta, Georgia, but recently moved from St. Simons Island after
living there 8 years. I graduated from Georgia Southern University,
The University of Georgia and NovaSoutheastern University. While my
experiences are varied and I was successful in all my career advancements,
classroom teaching is and has always been the most rewarding.
Two daughters, a son-in-law (professor) and two beautiful granddaughters
living in North Carolina, brought my wife of 32 years and me to Wake Forest.
The 2006-7 school year was very exciting for me because not only was I
chosen to represent our school as Teacher of the Year, I was selected as a
district finalist.
