Greetings from Miss Whalen! Thank you for visiting our classroom site. It
is my goal to make this year the most successful one for each and every one
of your children. I moved to Cary about six years ago, but my roots are
in Westchester County New York. I am a mom to two wonderful little boys named
Sean Owen who is 3 but going on 16 and the newest addition Jayden Jon who is
9 weeks old. I went to college and received my undergraduate degree in
education at the University of Delaware. There I majored in both Elementary
Education and Special Education. I have also received my Masters from NCSU
in Curriculum Instruction and Supervision. However, what I love to do best
is teach and learn from your children. Lets have a wonderful year!
