Throughout the year you will probably hear your child say they can't
remember what they did at school. This page is to help you and your child
stay connected to our classroom events and activities. Each week we will
provide you with questions to ask your child about the activities that we
have completed in school.
This week, you should ask me about...
...countries around the world. We are visiting 4 different countries this
week to learn about the holidays that are celebrated there. We are visiting
Isreal, Mexico, Netherlands, and Africa. We have passports and suitcases! Ask
me where we have traveled so far and ask me what I have in my suitcase.
...Hannukah. We learned about Hannukah and the dreidel game! Ask me how many
nights we celebrate the miracle of Hannukah. Ask me how to play the dreidel
game. The four sides are Gimel, Shin, Hay, and Nun. Ask me what each one
means.
...Polar Express day. Friday is a very special day! Ask me what we will be
wearing to school. We will also be having popcorn!
