This is my 28th year teaching at White Oak Elementary. (I guess I am the
longest surviving dinosaur here!) I have an Associate of Arts Degree from
Louisburg College and a Batchelor of Science Degree from East Carolina
University in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Reading Certificate
from ECU. I have two daughters in (or that have graduated from) the
Carteret County School System: Kyndall graduated from Croatan High School
and attends Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington and Kelsea is in the
tenth grade at Croatan High School. (sniff...sniff...)
Our mission is to learn the North Carolina Second Grade Curriculum and have
a good time doing it!
