FAQ: This page answers your questions about our Shop For The Wolves program (formerly Scrip)
Shop For The Wolves (SFTW) is a fundraising program at Wildwood Forest that involves buying pre-paid shopping cards for all kinds of local stores and restaurants (ex. Starbucks, Kohl�s, Food Lion, Chili�s, BP Gas). The cards you purchase are used just like cash. You can use them to purchase everyday things like food, gas, clothing, and other essentials. With every purchase, you earn revenue for Wildwood Forest!Back to Top
How does Shop For The Wolves generate revenue for Wildwood Forest Elementary?
Because the cards are purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a discount to us. The Wildwood Forest Elementary PTA buys the cards at a discount, and sells them to families like yours for full face value. You pay $10 for a $10 shopping card and the discount (from 2 to 15%) is our profit. It costs you nothing extra! Last year we raised $1,700. Help us raise even more this year! Shop For The Wolves is a popular fundraiser because families don�t have to sell anything. We profit when you use the cards to make regular household purchases you would make anyway. The cards also make great gifts � don�t buy a gift certificate from a store, buy it from us! The program provides one-stop shopping for gift certificates from many stores. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, restaurants, even gasoline can be purchased.Back to Top
There are two ways to order SFTW. 1) Order forms will come home in the Monday Folders. The order form lists the most popular merchants, but also provides an area you can use to write in merchants that aren�t listed on the form. The complete list of available merchants can be seen at www.glscrip.com/retailer_frame.htm . By the due date, return your completed order form with your check made payable to Wildwood Forest PTA in an envelope marked �Shop For The Wolves�. Your child�s teacher will drop this order in the �Shop� mailbox in the mailroom. 2) Online order is now available through ShopWithScrip.com. The online order program is used in place of turning in an order form for SWTW. Any family can use ShopWithScrip � however, to place orders, you have to create a free account at ShopWithScrip.com and identify yourself as a member of our school with the enrollment code shown below. ShopWithScrip Enrollment Code: 467AL79D39L2 After your order is completed, print the order confirmation page and submit it with your payment, made payable to Wildwood Forest PTA, to your child�s teacher. Your child�s teacher will drop this order in the �Shop� mailbox in the mailroom. Orders are placed on Wednesday, and ready on the following Monday. You can pick up your order in the school office from the receptionist or we can send it in your child�s Monday Folder. It�s that easy!Back to Top
