This will be my nineth year teaching at William R Davie Elementary School. I have taught first grade for six years and this will be my third year teaching kindergarten. I am very excited about this new adventure. I love teaching and I am ready for another great school year at William R Davie! We will have an frog theme in our classroom this year. I was the 2010-2011 teacher of the year for William R Davie. I grew up in Harmony and I went through the Iredell county school system. Now I live in Mocksville with my husband, Casey. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Winston Salem State University. I enjoy going to the beach, scuba diving, snow skiing, traveling, and watching Appalachian State football games. Go Mountaineers!!
