About Mrs. Connell:I grew up in Davie County and attended Davie County Schools. I graduated high school in 2000 and went to Appalachian State University. I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Elementary Education. This is my 5th year teaching 3rd grade at William R. Davie. I love this school and the children.
This is a great place to work. I currently live in Salisbury with my husband Chris and our daughter Addison.
Mission for the Class:
My mission for my class this year is to reach every student in their learning style. Not every student learns the same way and it is my job to help your child. I look foward to doing new things this year and having lots of fun.
I can tell already that this is a great group of kids who enjoy school. I hope to continue that love of learning for them. I want our classroom to be like a family for your child. To not only make friends but to expand their friendships to everyone in the classroom. I want my classroom to be a safe learning
environment for all. I will challenge your children to be the best that they can be academically but also socially. Teaching them to be great citizens in and out of school is something that will carry for years to come.
