School begins promptly at 8:10AM and ends at 3:00pm daily. Car students are
dismissed at 2:55PM to help with traffic flow. If your child is tardy you
must sign them in at the front office before going to class. If your child
has been absent, please send either a doctor's note, or a written note upon
their return to school.
Instructional time will not be interrupted. You may leave a message with
the office staff and they will give it to your child's teacher to return
your call at their convenience. In case of an emergency, the office staff
will assist you.
The student handbook is given out at the beginning of the year for you to
review. See the home page for a link to the documents. Each classroom
teacher also will send home various comminications to keep you informed
about your child's progress. You may schedule a parent conference with your
child's teacher if you have any questions.
If your child should need medicine(including over-the-counter) during the
school day, we must have a signed "Permission to Administer Medicine" form
from your doctor. You can get a copy of this form from the school to be
completed and returned to the school office. We also ask that all student
emergency contact information be kept current. Please notify the school if
there are any changes.
Homework is given to reinforce skills that have been taught and to provide
additional practice. Each teacher has his/her own homework requirements
that students are expected to meet.
The Aggie Club is our parent/teacher booster organization. Meetings are
held the second Thursday of each month at 7pm in the media center. Everyone
is welcome!
We encourage parental participation. We ask that all visitors sign in at
the front office before visiting. Check with your child's teacher to learn
more about volunteering.
We ask that any transportation changes be done in writing. We can not take
a child's word if they need to ride a different bus, or have a change.
Children may get confused and safety is our first priority.
