BE A BAGGAGE SCREENER
Have you ever stood in line at an airport and wondered, "What's taking so
long?!" Experience a shift as a baggage screener and see for yourself the
challenges facing even the most basic efforts of today's airport security. For
two minutes you are in charge of screening carry-on luggage. Your job is to
look for suspicious objects, weapons, or anything you think may be dangerous.
Be careful, but take too long with one bag and you'll hear it from all those
airline passengers waiting to catch their flights. You will be graded for your
performance at the end of your shift. Try doing another shift. And another. Do
you become more or less effective in your screening?
