November 9-13
We have been working so hard on our division problems. I can tell that
many of my students are becoming more confident mathematicians! We will
continue dividing larger numbers with larger divisors. Everyone has shown me
that they can check there answers with accuracy, so I have decided to let them
check their answers with a calculator just as they did with pencil and paper.
As long as everyone uses the calculators appropriately, we will continue
checking with a calculator. We will be dividing money this week as well.
In science this week we will be reviewing chapter 2 and will have a test
on Wednesday. We will then start chapter 3 on plants. In this chapter we
will learn how plants get the water and nutrients to all parts of the plant.
We will continue working on our keyboarding lessons as always.
