I am in my fourth year of teaching but this is the first time I have taught
third grade. So far I love it. I received my degree in Elementary Education
from Wayne State College. I also received my Master's degree in Curriculum
and Instruction from Wayne State College. I love going to school and I
consider learning to be a life long process so I am sure there will be more
classes in my future.
I am originally from O'Neill, NE and attended O'Neill St. Mary's. My parents
and grandparents still live near O'Neill on the ranch I grew up on. I also
have one brother that lives in O'Neill and works as an automotive technician
for the Ford dealership. I try to get back home but it isn't as often as I
would like. Currently I live in David City. I stay busy with school, family
and friends. I love the Huskers (football, volleyball, basketball and
baseball) and I enjoy going to as many games as I can. I also love to read,
shop, cook and go to the theater.
I have the following goals for this year and this class:
To foster the love of learning in every student.
To help every student see where they were, where they are and where they can go.
To create a learning community where every student is safe and able to learn.
That the students and I work cooperatively to learn from each other.
