Students should be studying 15 minutes each evening for spelling. They will
have two sentences to write out for the test each week. Our spelling test
will be on Fridays unless we have a
shortened week.
This is the first year for assignment notebooks. Each child will have an
assignment
notebook. I will write the daily assignments on the board for them to copy in
their
notebook. When they are finished with the assignment they should put a check
mark
in the complete box. If they do not have a check in the complete box then they
know they have homework in that subject
Students will be getting a Book-It pages to keep track of how much they read
at home.
Parents must sign or initial each square. The students need to read 15
minutes a day
for 16 days in a month. Book-It will be for October-March. When the students
brings in
the Book-It form completed they will get a coupon for a free personal pan
pizza from Pizza Hut.
