Research paper now due Monday Feb 13th - Please submit final paper with APA
guidelines and rough copy in a duotang folder. ( if you choose not to get
your edited draft your final copy is still due Monday

January 27th- this week was spent researching. No more class time will be
devoted to research. Students have APA booklets for paper guidelines and
instructions on how to create reference page using Word 2007. Rough copy of
papers are due Friday, February 3rd. Final copy is due February 10th. I am
available outside of classtime during the second half of lunch and
afterschool on Wednesdays.
We are now starting the research component of the curriculum. Research
proposals are due Jan. 20th - research paper details will be discussed in
class January 16th. Papers will be due 1st week in February.
Nov 28th - Students were given term projects for novel study - due Dec 16th
POSTPONED - these projects are now due January 9th, 2012
In class writing assessment- center on assignment sheet will ake place in
class on January 6th
1st journal entry for Speak is posted on Edmodo - this is due Nov 23rd
Glogsters are now due Monday Nov 21- make sure you log on to Glogster edu -
click edu green icon lower right of glogster home page.
Nov 14th - Short Story tests were returned today - students have until
Wednesday (Nov 16th) to re-do one question from their test. The answer is to
be posted on edmodo.
On Monday Nov 14th we are starting the novel Speak by Laurie Anderson.
Scary stories are now due on Nov 14th. Please use a duotang folder and have
