It took 8 innings but St. Paul's 9's defeated Roncalli Cardinals 10-9 to capture the 2012 NL Selects Junior High Girls Fast pitch Championship. With 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd, winning pitcher Samantha Gosse hit a 2 run single for the victory.
