NLBA Basketball Train to Train Coaching Clinic

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold a National Coaching Certification Program called Train to Train Coaching Course on November 28 – 30 weekend in St. John’s. The course will run from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday; 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. This course is the replacement for the old Technical 2 and includes both Technical and Theory Components under the National Coaching Certification Program. The course will consist of 3 classroom sessions and 3 on court sessions. The cost for registration is $154.50 and the deadline to register is November 20, 2014. Coaches must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to register. To pay for this course, you can either pay by PayPal through the NLBA website @ http://www.nlba.nf.ca/hm-makepayment.php, scroll down until you find the “Coaching Clinic Registration Payments” title. Select “Train to Train $154.50” and then press the Pay Now button. This will take you to the PayPal screen where you can pay by Credit Card or Debit.

Or you can send a cheque made out to the NLBA office to the address below, or drop by the NLBA office with a cheque. If you are sending in a cheque, please make sure you write a note who and what the cheque is for. Thank you.




NLBA Basketball Learn to Train Coaching Clinic

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold a Learn to Train Coaching Course on October 31 – November 2 weekend in St. John’s, gym TBA. The course will run from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Saturday; and 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Sunday morning. This course is the replacement for the old Technical I and includes both Technical and Theory Components under the National Coaching Certification Program. The course will consist of 2 classroom sessions and 2 on court sessions. The cost for registration is $128.75 and the deadline to register is October 23, 2014. Coaches must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to register. This course will be Paperless. Each participant will be given a thumb drive with the required information on it. It is each participant’s responsibility to bring a laptop or other electronic devices to the coaching clinic to access the information.
