Through funding provided to Coaching NL from the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, all courses offered by Coaching NL are available at no cost to participants. NCCP Learn to Train Coaching Clinic

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold a Learn to Train Coaching Course on January 31st – February 2nd weekend in St. John’s. The course will run from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Saturday; and 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Sunday morning. This course is the replacement for the old Technical I and includes both Technical and Theory Components under the National Coaching Certification Program. The course will consist of 2 classroom sessions and 2 on court sessions. The cost for registration is $128.75 and the deadline to register is January 24th. Coaches must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to register.
