Your child should be reading at home each evening for at least 15
minutes. This could include books, magazines, and/or newspapers. Please
help your child find material that is appropriate for his/her reading
level. Daily reading will help improve reading speed, fluency, vocabulary,
grammar, writing skills, and overall comprehension.
Besides reading, your child will have math and spelling homework Monday
through Friday. On
Friday, your child will bring home any work that is unfinished. This is to be
completed over the
weekend and must be passed in on Monday. If your child is using his/her time
wisely during the week,
he/she will not have any homework over the weekend.
