Why can't I print?
1) Please make sure your patch cord is connected.
2) Check to make sure you are logged on to the network.
3) Check the printer settings in the control panel. Make sure the printer
is online and "ready". (No checkmark next to "use offline")
4) There may be a DRIVER setting error. Please complete a "trouble ticket".
How do I change my homepage while online?
1) Launch Internet Explorer
2) Navigate to desired website
2) Click TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, USE CURRENT, OK
How do I clear my Internet History while online?
1) Launch Internet Explorer
2) Click TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, CLEAR HISTORY, OK
When I'm online I see a message
Cancel out of that web page and complete a Trouble Ticket.
Please indicate that you want Internet Explorer 6.0 installed.
How do I switch between open applications?
1) Open two or more applications.
2) Use the key combination ALT + TAB to switch between open applications.
How do I split the screen?
1) Open at least two applications.
2) Right-Click on a blank spot on the STATUS bar at the bottom of the screen.
3) Click TILE WINDOWS VERTICALLY
May I put a picture of a student or their work on my web page?
You must check with the front office to make sure there is a WEBSITE
PERMISSION SLIP on file.
What is a great REFERENCE site to use in my classroom?

Why doesn't my wireless work at home when it works fine at school?
At school we use a PROXY SERVER. You must turn that feature off when using
your laptop at home.
Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN
Settings (uncheck the USE A PROXY box when at home) OK
I am in Junior High. How do I become a Tech Helper?
You must apply, in writing, to Mr. Caron stating the reasons you'd like to
become a Tech Helper. You should have at least a "C" average, be willing to
work hard, and have a positive attitude.
How can I make a web page at home using NOTEPAD?
Make sure you save your file as: filename.html and choose ALL FILES where it
says "save as type".
