Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to our new class!  We are about to begin an exciting adventure 
together in first grade. I hope you enjoy reading Biscuit Goes to School and 
that you finish the activity and bring it to school on the first day in your 
new folder!  Here are some ideas for a good start in September:

*Please be sure to write your name on all of your school supplies/clothing.

*Please make sure that you bring a snack with you everyday because we start 
school so early and lunch is not until 11:30.  That is a very long time to 
wait when your stomach is growling, so eating during morning recess at 9:40 
is a great idea!

*Please bring all lunch and milk money to school in an envelope with your 
name printed on the outside. It is much easier to buy a lunch or milk ticket 
so you might want to try them.

*Parents-All changes in your child's dismissal routine require written 
permission from a parent every time the change occurs.  Your notes are handed 
to the appropriate driver before the driver will allow your child on the bus.
